As the holidays approach us, many of us are starting to make plans to spend quality time with our loved ones — and there’s no reason to leave out our furbabies!
The first World Christmas Market will take place in Marina Bay from now until December 25.
There are no entry fees to the event – and it’s pet-friendly too, so your furry friends can join in on the festivities too.
Here, visitors can expect to see row upon row of shopping stalls selling a variety of treats, from handmade crafts to Christmas decorations and even blind boxes, including Pop Mart’s popular Labubu figurines.
There’s also a special line for pets, with everything from toys to accessories and festive treats.
If you’re hungry, head to Feast Street where you’ll find a variety of F&B options.
Offerings range from festive classics such as bratwursts and mulled wine to new snacks such as sushi tacos and the viral Dubai chocolate-inspired ice cream – all of which can be enjoyed in the spacious seating area while taking in the Singapore skyline.
For those who fancy a drink, there’s even a pop-up bar on the roof.
Although not as common in Singapore, picking out fresh trees is a huge Christmas tradition in many other countries.
At the event’s Christmas Tree Farm, visitors can purchase fresh Christmas trees, as well as ornaments and other related decorations.
There will be live performances throughout the event to add to the festive spirit, including The Christmas Musical.
During these performances, visitors can expect a mix of classic Christmas carols, dance numbers and theater acts.
To help create lasting memories, there will also be a Snow Globe Picture Booth at the heart of the bazaar, as well as a 360-degree video booth.
For those visiting with kids or just want to have some old-fashioned fairground fun, head to the fairgrounds for some exciting games and attractions, including a carousel, pirate ship, and train ride.
In the spirit of the giving season, visit nonprofit Brands’ Wish Plaza For Good – a tent full of charity stalls where visitors can shop for a good cause.
Some of the beneficiaries setting up their stalls there include Hope for Animals, Helping Joy Ltd and Babes Pregnancy Crisis Support Ltd.
Direct donations are also accepted here.
